This world is covered in sand and pyramids. Wind is common, kicking up the sand and making it difficult to see or even travel overland without protection. Fortunately, each pyramid has at least one entrance and they all link together underground.
Unfortunately they link via mazes. Hundreds of mazes. Mazes that can hide enemies quite easily for ambushes if they know their way around well enough.
The Glitch: Every 24 hours, time on this world resets. Anything that was done, any changes made anywhere, conversations had, you name it, is all gone, set back to the same state. A player caught during the nightly reset will be forced back to whatever place they were at when they entered the world.
Extra-characters created via time loops are destroyed and do not persist past the time reset. Attempts to use time powers to go beyond the hour of the reset result in the player being rubber band-snapped back to the hour of reset, forcing them to undergo it.
Denizen: Hephaestus
Consorts: Red crocodiles.
Establishments and Tourist Sites:
The Oasis - A small place of greenery and water amidst the harsh and barren desert.
Sekhemkhet, The Great Pyramid - The Great Pyramid is the primary pyramid in the world and thus shields the majority of the world's crocodile inhabitants from the planet's wicked sands. Within, you'll find a bustling city structure of organized businessmen and women who are quite well developed for lacking opposable thumbs.
The Stock Market - BUY NAK, SELL DOOF. Or, at least, you would if the daily reset didn't make trading stock nearly impossible without abusing daytrading and intraworld shenanigans.
The Auction House - Quite the tall building located within the Great Pyramid, the Auction House is a hub of commerce and budding kismesissitudes where players can bid on items for use in their journey or otherwise.
Naknak Museum of Vintage Records and Antique Radios - Actually run by an elderly Dersite and his 'daughter', this attraction is quite actually the largest collection of music and anything with a knob on it in the world! ...the world of LOSAL, that is. It's a bit difficult to grow, considering the daily reset... but hey! It's a place full of relics and secrets. You might learn something new! Good luck trying to acquire them for yourself, though.
The Solar Consensus - A giant sandstone sundial in the center of Sekhemket lit by an opening at the pyramid's peak, the area surrounding the Solar Consensus is a meeting and gathering place where various nakodiles peddle their goods. The world's Store is located in this bazaar.
Tomb of the Pharaoh - Crocodiles don't have pharaohs. What is the point of this delicately made sealed tomb full of unintelligible and glitched runes and prophecies on the walls? As of yet, nobody knows. Ruinists have scoured the area far and wide for any hints to its depths and yet all attempts, even by those of the brightest of minds, have proven that the tomb and its secrets are impenetrable at the moment. It is, however, currently under the protection of Lady Muse.
Constellation Cave: A huge, dark cavern located beneath one of LOSAL's pyramids. The ceiling is full of tiny, brightly glowing rocks that resemble stars. If you look hard enough, you'll find constellations from your home planet, no matter what planet that is.
