So much was happening so fast, it was hard to even process. Lord Troll had been dead all along? How? There were dream bubbles, but he was here. Was the Glitch a dream bubble? Were they all asleep? Not that the whys and wherefores really mattered. How could they do this? They were friends. Or had been. Never mind that the same sort of dynamic was playing out among her own sessionmates. But she didn't want to think about that and Mitrax wanting to kill Cantoral and Evius backing him up.... She didn't really want to be there at all.
But Mitty and Evius were still her friends. She didn't know about Cantoral anymore. And Lord Troll.... She knew it was a foolish fantasy, that he was - or had been - flushed for the Muse, and that he'd never look at her with anything more than friendship if she could even get THAT far. But she didn't want him hurt. Or worse, dead. ...dead-er? Whatever.
So when Lady Muse stabbed him through the shoulder, and left the blade in there, Ketrix muffled a cry with her hand and flew to Lord Troll. She wasn't going to fight, she was just going to pull it out. It would be fine. Except someone has a Time item, and she froze like most, hand on the hilt.
Strife Deck
Long Reach of Licorice Cruelty - 1000B - This metal hook-tippped whip is studded throughout with incredibly sharp pieces of amethyst. The whip has two forms which it can alternate between: Red pain and Black pain.
In Red Pain form, the whip bursts into flames. The damage it creates is physical. Any wounds from this form burn as if holding a red hot ember to someone's skin. (PL: Moderate | Fire)
In Black Pain form, it can release bursts of freezing cold. The damage it does is to the victim's emotions, making them sad and regretful. (PL: Moderate | Emotion)

The whip can alternate from form to from with the user's mind. It gives off the faint smell of licorice each time it is used

Head - Rose and Gold Hairpin - 300B - This hairpin is made of gold. Two somewhat sharp tines stretch up to an oval shaped working of gold leaf-and-feather design, swirling around a circular piece of rose opal that seems to glow softly with the light of an ocean sunset. //

Neck - Black Pearl Necklace - 600B - (PL: Light/Moderate) - This necklace of black pearls allows the user to create and control shadows. Any attacks made with control shadows have a chance of doing slight damage, but they'll do full damage to intangible creatures.
Belt - Belly Ring of Binding - 20B - (PL: Weak) - This diamond and silver belly ring can store a positive emotion. When it does, it glimmers prettily. The user can expend the charge to give themselves a mood-altering boost of whatever emotion was stored. This makes the belly ring look normal again until recharged.
Hands - Fancy Fingerless Glove - 100B - These fancy gold lace fingerless gloves are made of baroque floral patterns, coming to a triangular peak over the middle finger. They can ripple and flow when put on, reshaping to fit any hand, claw, tentacle, or alien limb.
While worn, your touch confers Ice damage (PL: Light.)
Ring - Ring of Effectiveness - 60B - (PL: Weak) - When worn, the effectiveness of any consumable the wearer has is boosted. Max of 3 worn at a time.
Feet - Oceanic Heels - 500B - These bronzey-looking heels are reminiscent of metal exposed to the sea for too long. The top of the toe contains a casual spill of tiny seashells, water-smoothed stones, and bits of coral. The back of the heel is completely encrusted with miniature, iridescent 'clams' and barnacles made of crafted sequins. The heel and underside of the shoe look like salt deposit, dangling down as if from long abandoned ship or a mysterious sea cave.
While wearing these shoes, you can walk on water and are granted hydrokinesis. (PL: Moderate)
Alchemizing them can also impart ocean/sea/water effects.

As Formus scanned the field, they caught a glimpse of someone with a lot of tentacles, and they could just guess who that might be, but that was also about the time the the Muse reformed again and went after Lord Troll (those two were pretty distinctive in any vision). They cringed as the Muse's blade struck home, and though they couldn't do anything about that, they could try to ease some of the pain. Focusing their most-commonly employed power, they began to steal the lack of neutral sensation from the Lord's skewered shoulder. Hissing slowly as they began to feel a pain in their own shoulder, they turned toward the Ruinists....and abruptly froze due to the Time Stop effect.

If you touch the tip to your lips, you gain the ability to see if someone is lying or not. If you touch the tip over your heart, you instinctively get a feel for how good or evil someone is (other player's owner determines what that might be.) If you tap the staff to the ground and let go, it'll remain standing. The staff's eyes begin to blink and if anyone comes within 10 ft of you with intent to harm you, the staff will give off a warning siren sound

Schuldig smirked as Cantoral went down, even though his application of power hadn't worked quite as he'd expected. He hadn't known that Evius was going to try to divert her at the same time. When the Muse ran Neiros through, Crawford's attention was snatched from Icaru to his moirail, though lucky for him, Icaru was focused more on one of his clones. He wanted to jump in, or at least get that blade out of Neiros' shoulder, but though he was hard-pressed, it didn't look like Lady Muse was anywhere near finishing him. Back to the fight at hand, then.
His brows rose as he felt the flow of Time come to a halt, and did a quick survey of the field, watching Ruinists and Preservationists both freeze in place, the only movement accompanied by red auras and the flickering symbols of gears as Time players and those with Time-based items resisted the pause. He frowned at seeing Nagi frozen, and a player trying to get the drop on him. Lip curling, he raised his gun and fired at Mbulus. Stay away from his not-son/not-nephew (he had complicated relationships; sue hum).
Clone #1 activated his own Brooch for extra eyes before following #2's example and healing his previously sustained damage.
Clone #2 turned Absolute Future on Icaru and fired, his expression perfectly blank.
Clone #3 now had a complaint to file, but he'd do that later. Activating his own Precognition, he didn't even bother trying to dodge the knuckle shot; the fire was negated and the physical damage was absorbed by his armor. He was more concerned with the second attack. Hm. He could survive it. So, he remained still as though time-frozen and turned on his pain suppression since the impact wasn't actually a pain effect. He moved at the last second, still taking the hit, but avoiding being totally knocked back as he moved in and murmured, "Remember how Time players aren't personally affected by LOSAL's elevated glitching?"
Clone #4, meanwhile, threw a punch at Icaru through another LORAT-ish portal.

Brooch of Solidarity - 150B - This powerful item creates a shadowy double of yourself during a fight. This shadow double doesn't fight offensively but does watch your back. This brooch can also be used to telepathically put out a call for help to other Preservationists. (Double's powers are 2 tiers weaker than your own, minimum Light unless power already Weak.)

Rhythm of an Absolute Future - 7200B - Inlaid with the inscription of a golden hourglass, this jet-black pistol crackles with temporal power.
Each bullet fired deals an Epic mix of Physical and Time damage and immediately appears back in its clip, essentially giving this weapon infinite ammo.
Without the aid of Time Powers, it presents four possible shooting paths the moment the trigger is pulled and goes down the one selected by the shooter. (PL: Epic Divination)
In the hands of a Time player, though, the gun adjusts itself of its own accord so that it always shoots true (though it can't negate shields and other cover or cases of teleportation). (PL: Epic Divination)
Each successful attack against an opponent enhances the weapon further, granting the next bullet an armor piercing effect. This continues to stack with each successful attack, resetting back to normal on a miss. (PL: Moderate, potential increase to Epic)
Additionally, each time your opponent successfully blocks or dodges an attack, the speed of your next bullet is doubled

Ice Monarch's Kevlar Trench - 4800B - It's dangerous to go alone, so for god's sake, protect yourself. In the face. This white trenchcoat is cold to the touch and seems to glisten in the light.
It grants the wearer protection from conditions of Strong heat and fire-based attacks. (PL: Strong | Fire Def)
The wearer can launch sharp icicle-like projectiles at targets at will. (PL: Strong)
In addition, the wearer can create massive blasts of ice energy to injure and slow or possibly even freeze a target. Attacks are increased in power, especially if the wearer is doing something Heroic. (PL: Strong - Epic)
The trench finally is able to bestow full cryokinesis powers on the wearer. (PL: Strong).
When this is worn, it offers a thin layer of mystical protection throughout the user's body. (PL: Strong | Physical Def).
Weapons with added effects are canceled; however, this does not apply if the added effect is the weapon (PL: Strong Negation). (EX if the opponent's knife has poison or fire effects added to it, it works as a regular knife; but if you drink poison or jump into a fire then you are stupid)
Vulnerable areas like face and neck gain 15% resistance to physical attacks. (PL: Moderate).

They become weakened whenever a planet breaks or is restored, the effect of that planet disappearing forever. Each effect can be changed at will once per round.
