Istasha (Alia)
Age: Unknown appears to be 17 Years of age.
Race Name: Oglite
Race Description:
thehomestuckglitch.proboards.com/post/47514
God Tier? Ye
*Changed Godtier here*
Class: Mage
Aspect: Light
Aspect Power Usage
As the Mage of Light, Istasha can use luck and knowledge to her advantage in these ways:
+ Using luck as a tactical means: As the opposite of a Seer who uses luck to guide a team, a Mage will use luck to guide themselves to the best path to victory. So Istasha has a 75% chance to alter any result of any situation in her favor.
+ Creating magical beams of light: Istasha is a MAGE and so she can actually shoot beams of light at her enemies and can cause slight burn damage.
+ Light clones: Istasha can create clones of herself made of light. They aren't strong and are unable to attack but provide an excellent distraction as when they are struck they explode like flash grenades and temporarily blind a target. She can create up to three of these clones.
+ Enhanced Knowledge: Istasha has high intelligence due to her title. And if she doesn't know it you best believe she can use her powers to find out what it is.
As the Mage of Light, Istasha is disadvantage in these ways:
- A mages' suffering: Istasha as all mages suffers from her aspect. Bright lights aren't her friends, they give her migraines. Also she gets migraines from her enhanced knowledge. You know when they say there are many ways to skin a cat? Well with every problem she is presented, Istasha's mind runs rampant with multiple solutions all swarming her mind to be used.
Strife Specibus: Chainkind
Your Weapon (Name & Brief description of what it can do):
- Binding Chains of the Void: Chains that are produced from the void itself that wrap around and latch onto an opponent and render them immobile. It seems the chains are made from the void itself and are entirely difficult to break.
-Chains of Oglogoth: Black chains made out a dark grim-like energy. Any sane person would’ve tossed this into the oblivion in which it came from. Any target bound with these can hear the faint whispers of the furthest ring. The dark energies can grow thorns that embed into the target’s skin. And this chain is prone to giving off black electrical currents that stun the trapped target.
-Binding Chains of Elements: This chain can be used to bind and capture any element being used as a weapon and fired back at the target.
-Great Voiding Chains of Locking: A set of chains used to lock certain individuals into a bubble like force field and basically imprison them. The field is made out of a void like energy in which nothing can pass through it. The best way to break it is by knocking out the user. The force field can last up to 7-10 posts if they can't find a way to knock her out.
Sylladex Inventory (Up to 10 items):
1. Weapon Slot
2. Weapon Slot
3. Weapon Slot
4. Weapon slot
5. iMonocle: It’s a combination of an iPhone and a monocle, a perfect combination of tech savvy and dapper as fuck.
6. Shroud Scarf: While this doesn’t make you invisible it shrouds you from omniscience from space players, soul sensing from heart players, and mind infiltrations from mind players. It ensures you are not detected by all means.
7. Chain: A normal chain used for Alchemizing.
8. Book of Dark Premises: A manuscript that entails the history of Oglites. It also has detailed information of their occulted history with several incantations that were primarily used with blood rites and sacrificial ceremonies. No normal mortal can read this book as it is written in Broodfester tongues, an equivalent to Latin and not many can decipher it’s dark text. Which may be for the better.
9. Dead Raven: It’s the remains of a raven, well preserved with feathers and all.
10. Ring of Oglogoth: A ring made of a black metal and obsidian cut in the shape of a skull. It has the ability to change the wearer into a grotesque horror terror like creature. This form is quite malevolent, for Istasha her whispers tells other players to do evil things, things they would never do (Although it is up to the player whether they choose to follow or not). With the ring she can use some of those grim dark like powers as well. More so like how a psionic would, manifesting into a dark energy, which she can create force fields, open black void portals where her chains usually appear from, and pick things up and throwing them.
Worn Items (Optional, Limited only by logic!)
Voice headcanon: www.youtube.com/watch?v=7_CvVf9yflU&spfreload=10
Istasha seems to look like any average human, save for her greyish skin that barely passes off as pale. She stands at five feet four inches and weights about 130 pounds. As an Oglite she does have an extra eye and an extra mouth. Her extra eye is hidden by the bangs of her hair and is always closed. Opening it causes her to see things much more…differently then a normal person. She can see beyond what normal beings can see, one of the nasty after effects from her people being corrupted. Her extra mouth is on her stomach, she has it bandaged to prevent drooling or having it rip people into shreds. She has black medium length hair with straight bangs. There is a single pale grape color streak in the bangs and on the right side of her head. Her lips and nails are naturally black. Her eyes are purple with dark purple outer rings on the iris. Her body build is also average but leaning toward slender at most. Her features are softer and subtle.
Clothes:
Talksprite Mode
Original Outfit
Back on her planet everyone pretty much wore the same colors and were a bit conservative and covered up their bodies the colors were monochromatic, not too many colors, just enough to work together. This also applies to Istasha. She wears a pale grape long sleeved shirt that is buttoned at the neck with frills and has thumbholes. She wears a pair of grey overall shorts that has six buttons, darker grape colored stockings and Purple pointed ankle boots. On her lower back she has two black tentacles and holes in her clothing to fit the tentacles comfortably. Her hair was much longer and covered her third eye which does give her a much better depth perception but often gave her headaches so she leaves it closed.
Current Outfit
Once she was in game she was free from the confines of her home world and decided to go with something different. Again she keeps in line with her many different shades of purple and grey. This time with this outfit she felt something a little more adventurous was in order. She now wears a pale grape corset that zips up in the front with a darker purple cropped jacket. She created the shroud scarf to hide her presences from those who are able to sense her by any means and she added this to her outfit. For bottoms she wears grey shorts with a black belt that has a small pocket area where she stores some smaller items. She still wears stockings albeit one knee high the other is thigh high. The knee high is still that dark grape color while the thigh high is striped now. She still wears pointed boots but they are much taller and dark save for the point and the heel, which have remained the purple color. She felt like her hair got in her face a lot so she tied it up. She also cut her bangs shorter and now leaves her third eye open now that she no longer gets bad headaches from depth perception since her ascension to god tier. Although she is prone to them still by other means. Like all her outfits there is slots in the backs of the shirts where her tentacles can slip into without ruining her clothes.
Corrupted Form
Istasha’s corrupted form resembles like a cat with many eyes and mouths all over the body. In this form the whispers from this form will tell individuals to do evil or something they know they shouldn’t be doing or something that isn’t like them to do. (Although it’s right to choose whether or to follow these whispers.) She can only achieve this form when she uses the ring of Oglogoth.
Base Inventory: (Unlimited)
Istasha’s original base is a large dark floating tower powered by the dark energies which her people rely on as their source of power for most of their technologies. The top of the tower is her room that has a window and secret passage that lets you up onto the top of the roof. The majority of the tower is a long spiral stair case that starts from the common room (the only other room she has besides her bedroom) and then up to her room.
-Vest of Festive Things - This vest is blinged out with rhinestones and Christmas and winter-themed patches. Pull a patch off for a festive effect. Patches can't be reattached once used, and after all the patches are gone, it's just a blingy vest with a bunch of blank spaces. Patches are as follows:
Snowman - Creates a friendly snowman companion to play with! Until it melts, anyway.
Candy Cane - Covers the area in red and white peppermint-scented confetti
Gingerbread Man - Creates a fresh, hot plate of decorated cookies
Santa - A jolly man in red and white appears and gives each person present a small, mundane item or lump of coal (mod's discretion)
Snowflake - Covers the area in several inches of snow, perfect for making snowballs and snowmen
-Murderous Tentacle Ring - This golden ring is designed to look like a mass of intertwined, writhing tentacles. The lines flow smoothly into and through one another so that the ring actually creates a perfectly unbroken chain of tentacly appendages. Tentacles with wicked looking hooks on them will lash out and attack anything or anyone that comes near the ring or anyone wearing it.
Follower of...: Neither (Scavenger)
This session was only played with four players. Neither of them were time or space players. Istasha was tricked into playing the game by one of her Internet friends who also tricked the other two friends to play. She originally adamantly refused to play, sensing something disturbing about the game. But after being tricked and coerced into playing she didn’t have a choice. Unfortunately even though he managed to trick them, that player didn’t know what to do and most of them died right before they even started their quests. And of course it was up to Istasha to fix everything up and revive the players. After that was done there was a huge argument between the other two players and the player that tricked them. Istasha tried to break it up and have them talk it out, but they were done talking. As the actually began to fight Istasha found herself fading out into the void, until she no longer existed in that session and finally reappearing in the glitch.
