SO I'M SHAMELESSLY STEALING LADY'S IDEA BECAUSE I HAVE APPROXIMATELY FIVE BILLION CHARACTERS. Okay. Here we go.
As with hers, let me know if you're interested in any of these or want to plot or make a session or really anything? I don't know what to do with them all. I should also note that a lot of these will probably have name changes because most of them are old. Also, while a lot of them mention other characters, I likely will not keep relations between my own characters (unless it's all in the past) and I am totally up for replacing one of them with someone else's character! Preferably similar, but I'm sure we can work other stuff out too.

Preferably similar, but I'm sure we can work other stuff out too.
- Aethese - Human - Gunsmith with a blacksmithing hobby. Sweet and motherly, but in an "if-someone-hurts-you-I-will-punch-them-in-the-face" way. Excellent fighter, but generally prefers to stay on the sidelines. Has a huuuuge scar disfiguring her face from an accident as a child, but she likes to make up stories about fighting with dragons for the little kids that ask her about it.
- Amaia/Amirah - ??? - Amaia is a shy person with dissociative identity disorder. Her only alter at this time is Amirah, who's brash and blunt in contrast to Amaia's softer personality. Amaia herself is usually a hermit who lives near and watches over a shrine in the forest, but sometimes Amirah breaks loose when she gets stressed and scares off the visitors because this is stupid and you are stupid and I just want to see civilization sometime, please!
- Ambrosia - ??? - Blunt, practical, laid back. Protective of people close to her but not smotheringly so. For the most part she just wants to do her job (depending on the setting she probably ran a small convenience store or something) and enjoy life without people getting up in her face.
- Aramis - ??? - Swordfighter who REALLY loves his garden. Quiet and reserved for the most part, but makes a big deal about defending the innocent and picking fights with people your own size.
- Aquafarious - ??? - Spy for hire who's really just after knowledge, she soaks it up like a sponge. Has a fascination with the sea, particularly its depths, and dreams of visiting it someday. Alternatively, may be an aquatic race.
- Bird - probably not actually a bird - ARE YOU READY TO ROCK? Because Bird is, all the time every day. She's a huge music fanatic and will listen to literally anything. Personality-wise, she's reckless and has a short temper, but extremely motivated. Highly hedonistic.
- Bleke - ??? - This is a dad. He is a good dad. Bleke is pensive, wistful, concerned, and generally just wants to go back home. He does care deeply for the people close to him and makes a big deal of showing it, but sometimes it's tough to have a big heart. In his original setting, Lear was his daughter, but that may change here.
- Cass - Human - Already an NPC! Cass is a sarcastic pyromaniac that considers himself above everyone else and likes to make the rest of them squirm. Preferably as they burn. Yes, that would be nice. Usually seen with his partner in crime, Elethe, or their third wheel, Zureus.
- Chalcedony - Demon? - Chalcedony is usually a member of a violent race that was born sickly and frail, and so has to deal with not fitting in but not being sure he wants to fit in now that he's taken a step back. He's a real sweetheart who's mostly interested in his books, though. Not much of a talker either.
- Chandelier - ??? - A trauma victim who developed schizophrenia over time. Chandelier is mostly just a scared kid who wishes the world weren't so loud and bright and full of people they don't know. They spend most of their time trying - and failing - to pick up their late dad's tinkering hobby, or otherwise going out to the wilderness for an escape.
- Cosmos - ??? - Cosmos uses phytokinesis to fight. Because he sets the plants on fire, isn't that fun. Hot-headed, impulsive, and cynical, Cosmos is one of those people who thinks a job is only well done if you do it yourself. He is a decent strategist when he's not going berserk with his flaming vine weapons, though.
- Dither - Golem? - Originally, an advanced AI for a corrupt biotechnology research facility that took on a life of their own on an employee's personal computer after the company shut down. As a result, their morals are a little off, but they don't intend to hurt anybody. Except burglars and that kind of thing; they've got to keep the building safe, after all. Very dry and literal, but will occasionally crack jokes in such a deadpan voice that they almost go unnoticed.
- Eight - ??? - Smol and quiet. Eight is mute and converses entirely through drawing pictures, probably instantly in the air with an ability or item of some sort. It's incredibly secretive, but seems convinced it did something unspeakably awful and now cuts itself off from most people as "punishment". Sometimes it breaks and gets super clingy, though.
- Elethe - Troll - Already an NPC! Elethe is a troll who has mastered the art of sarcasm and uses it as frequently as possible. While she is a fuchsia blood, she (outwardly) rejects her royalty and is more likely to wreak havoc to a society than bring order to it. Still, her commandeering nature shines through and she fights for leadership with her partner in crime, Cass, and their third wheel, Zureus.
- Else - Some bug race? - Your glitchy grandparent. In their original setting, Else was an illegal cyborg; here, they'll probably just be super unstable and glitch into different stuff all the time. They're sweet and the sort to bake cookies for a random stranger, but tired and old as well. They love kids, like a lot.
- Ember - Dragonkin probably - Ember wants to help people, but more often than not ends up hurting them or at best doing nothing. Plus people are scary holy shit how do you deal with socializing. She's scared of abandonment but scared of getting close to people so that's a fun limbo to be stuck in. Lashes out a lot when she's scared.
- Emmy - ??? - Technically one of Shrike's sessionmates and technically dead but shh these are my characters I can make as many AU versions as I want. Emmy was previously the self-proclaimed leader of a ragtag group of friends-by-situation, and it took on the responsibility of introducing all of them to as many video games and TV shows as possible. It mostly cares about having a good time and very much enjoys puns and pranks.
- Fie - Troll - Atares' dancestor. Will introduce herself as nameless, but the sheer number of times she screams "fie!" at people has made it what most people call her. Unpredictable, switches speech patterns and quirks all the time, may even speak in other languages mid sentence and is generally chaotic and difficult to follow. Has a profound interest in art and culture, but only ever studies from afar.
- Flame - Sudonian? - Grounded, calm, and stubborn. Flame is not nearly as volatile as her name suggests, though she is much more likely to stand her ground and fight than flee, and isn't bad at all in combat. Usually seen trying to keep her friend Tamarack out of trouble.
- Fervor - ??? - Both an inventor and a fashion fanatic, Fervor's all about the steampunk aesthetic. He's usually covered in soot or dirt from his endeavours, and it's rare to see him out of his workshop. While he does tend to lock himself up in his work, he's still highly outgoing and gives a warm welcome to anyone that visits him, or anyone he meets when he finally goes to get some fresh air.
- Hana - ??? - Hana is probably my biggest cutie besides maybe Inan (soon to be made, so not on this list). She's inquisitive and sweet, but a little overwhelming at times because she gets REALLY EXCITED about EVERYTHING. Happens sometimes with little kids. She's a huge plushie fanatic and has a decent collection, if you can call it that.
- Harbinger - Naga? - Snowblind's partner, though I'm only going to bring in one or the other because I won't be able to get their character arcs apart otherwise. Reserved and hospitable, but melancholic thanks to the death of her son and partner (well, sort of; you'll understand if you read Snowblind's entry). Fears the cold more than anything. She often acts as a vigilante figure who will track criminals, predict their movements (Seer?), and show up to warn the potential victims, which is how she earned her name.
- Illumina Teague - Changeling? - An elusive shapeshifter with multiple identities who they pose as on a daily basis. As far as they're concerned, they may as well be multiple people; Illumina is nothing but a collective name for the whole group of them. But just what are they up to with all this sneaking about? Based loosely on the Illuminati, surprise surprise.
- Jabber - ??? - Equal parts con artist and fashionista. Jabber is dry, blunt, and brief until they're ready to talk you into a questionable deal or two, which they've become surprisingly good at over time. They're incredibly vain, but their beauty is for their sake alone and they could really care less what you think about their fashion choices.
- Japhet - Aves - Oops, there had to be an expy in here somewhere (he's from OFF). Japhet held a high position of power before he entered Sbirb, but over time he grew cynical, believing that his people would not accept his compassion and eventually deciding they did not deserve it. He instead grew into a tyrant who ruled with an iron fist, and much of his lingering rage would carry over to the Glitch. He loves books and poetry, and even had a massive library back home.
- Kukori - ??? - Kukori is always angry at something, or at least pretends to be. She constantly has a "fuck you" attitude, but in the end means well, not that she won't stop going off as she helps you. She also panics a lot, though her idea of panicking is yelling really loud at everything, oops. In most settings, she either has no eyes or they are sewn shut.
- Kwibling/Anyone - Lusus bonded trolls - Kwibling and Anyone are a pair of lusus bonded twins (taking the form of an armadillo-type creature in lusus form). Both of them are quiet, childish, and don't seem to understand a lot, mostly due to shutting themselves off from the outside world for most of their lives. Kwibling has an interest in old machinery, Anyone loves to read, but he only ever learned to read runes and hasn't bothered to learn anything else so mostly just likes to look at the pictures. He also hates birds, a lot, mostly because he's jealous.
- Kyelu - ??? - Deaf, bordering on blind, and still going strong. Kyelu is a soft-spoken and placid individual, but the sort that's almost a little scary mostly because they are ridiculously tall and strong and you're never sure if they're about to punch you in the face or not. Has an affinity for snow and the cold. Counterpart to Mortok, but they may not be related at all here even if I bring both of them in.
- Lakrose - ??? - The only pirate queen you'll ever need! Wait, what? Oh, fine, former pirate queen. Or... just pirate captain. Let her have her moment of glory, damn it, that's still impressive. Lakrose is an adventurer (and plunderer *cough*) who lives for the thrill as much as she does the loot. Sburb was basically the best thing that ever happened to her. Enthusiastic, but sarcastic. I would totally be up for starting a band of pirates/bandits/whatever with this one, whether she's the leader or not.
- Lear - ??? - Lear is cocky and rude, but isn't about to turn a blind eye to someone in need of a little help. Life hasn't exactly gone her way so far, and so she's bitter and cynical over it. Mostly she's upset that she never found her brother - who was kidnapped a long time ago - and now that her planet's destroyed, she never will so there's some bonding potential there. Excellent mechanic and has a love for rock climbing.
- Matskelen - ??? - Matskelen is sick and tired of people trying to tell them that murder is wrong. Let up already. He knows, and by now he's mostly doing it to spite people. He's actually quite the sweetheart, and is sappy enough that you might wonder if he's actually a tree, and he genuinely means it. What kind of idiot would kill the people he loves? But he does get a kick out of blood and carnage all the same. In most cases, works together with Towton as a loose brawn and brains combo, but here I'd prefer to set him up with some other less-than-moral strategist (for obvious reasons) to wreak as much chaos as possible.
- Mey - Arachne - Kind, quiet, and melancholy are the words that best describe Mey. Despite her frightening appearance, she cares deeply for others, but tends to hide herself away for fear of scaring them off or hurting them. Absolutely loves art and colours, and typically uses it as an outlet.
- Mortok - ??? - Blind, bordering on deaf, and slowly losing control. Mortok doesn't speak much, but when they do, it's to the point and has an almost ominous undertone. It's really the only thing scary about them unless you count the huge eyes; they're small and fragile, and always seem to look about to bolt. Has an affinity for caverns, water, and the darkness. Counterpart to Kyelu, but they may not be related at all here even if I bring both of them in.
- Noisemaster - ??? - I swear, this is the only other expy! Noisemaster (name subject to change) maintains an upbeat, confident persona and seems to bark everything out like a stereotypical radio DJ. True to his name, he enjoys music, and he is also something of an inventor. However, he has a more sinister side to him...
- Pomme - Maybe Ghoul or Wendigo - A stoic and protective warrior - the sort of person who exudes an aura of power, but also the sort that commands respect and trust. Patient, persistent, and aloof, her preference for diplomacy over combat makes her even more intimidating - chances are she could kill you, but she's decided not to for whatever reason. There is a catch, though; she's a cannibal. Just don't get on her bad side and you should be fine.
- Raevi - Human? - Raevi is a poet who likes to fancy himself a great leader, a revolutionary, a true warrior! But not really, he's just good at writing pep talks. All his fights fail miserably the moment things come to blows, and yet he still has not realized that now is a good time to stop. He will probably try to incite a rebellion against LT or something. Please do something.
- Rein - ??? - WELL WOULD YOU LOOK AT THIS ASSHOLE. Can you ever tell what Rein is thinking? Usually not. Is he ever doing anything that makes any sense? Usually not. This guy seems dead set on getting himself killed by his curiosity and belief that everything can be understood with enough effort, which unfortunately leaves him consumed by his interest and leads him to ignore the people around him. Shuts himself off for months at a time and tries to push away anyone that tries to care, then acts like nothing happened. His original story was entwined with Elayer's (already existing character) a lot so I might make them sessionmates, but that depends on what Bill thinks.
- Scaffold - Demon? - Creepy as all hell. Her movements are jerky, her speech is creaky, but she moves way too fast. Is more of a minion character than anything so I won't bring her in unless someone has a use for her, but she is damn good at following orders. Well-versed in torture techniques; her signature weapon is a dagger that literally speed rots the victim from the inside out. While forcing them to stay alive and conscious. Fun, huh?
- Schrodinger - Cheshire probably - A naturalist and anthropologist who drinks up knowledge like a sponge. Xe maintains an almost childlike wonder for the world around xir. Xe would also look up if you told xir gullible was written on the ceiling, and then take notes. Excellent with their words, understanding of others, and extremely intelligent, but as above xe's more interested in knowledge for the sake of it - not knowledge for accuracy - and xe has a problem with believing everything anyone says to xir - to some extent - so long as it's stated as a fact.
- Sisyphus - ??? - Money makes the world go round. Sisyphus is addicted to cash, and his history of scamming, theft, blackmarket deals, and - gasp! - legitimate business has left him with a lot of it. But he won't stop there, oh no. He is as persistent as he is clever and deceitful, and he will stop at nothing to get what he wants.
- Snowblind - ??? - Harbinger's partner, though I'm only going to bring in one or the other because I won't be able to get their character arcs apart otherwise. Snowblind found their child frozen to death in the snow after he was caught in a snowstorm, but was so overcome with grief that she froze as well. While she returned as a ghost (a yuki onna initially), she found that the only way to stay in the world of the living was to steal the life force from as many people as possible. Her originally kind and caring personality warped to become obsessive, paranoid, and violent, and by the time Harbinger realized things weren't right, it was too late to back out. Her fear of dying for good leads her to kill many more people than is necessary, though her partner tries her best to foil her plans.
- Spark - ??? - A timid prankster whose flightiness and perpetual stutter easily catch people off guard. He loves setting serious traps as much as harmless practical jokes. Loyal and clingy, but ever paranoid. Also a musician, and a surprisingly good singer - his stutter vanishes as long as he knows the lyrics.
- Tamarack - Sudonian? - A small fuzzball of joy who won't shut up for five seconds. Always interested in getting into things they shouldn't. Fascinated with magic, but a little - okay, a lot - clumsy with it. Loves a good joke. Usually trying to get their friend Flame to loosen up and trespass in as many places as possible with them for any reason other than to keep them from getting themself killed.
- Tien - ??? - One of Shrike's sessionmates. Tien is sweet, but quiet and always seems to be somewhere very far away. Practices several different forms of magic, even more post-Sburb since the magical items in-game are a lot more powerful. Unfortunately, at some point during Sburb, Tien vanished mysteriously... but there's certainly a chance this one could turn up somewhere!
- Towton - ??? - Towton is a charming strategist who moves as quickly as his tongue. He loves to make sharp remarks and then duck out of the way of any conflict, always maintaining his innocent grin. He loves messing with people who lose their cool, but actually respects people who don't. Excellent strategist and gets excited at the prospect of all the chaos and destruction a battle will bring, but rarely participates in the fighting himself. That's something he leaves to Matskelen.
- Viper - Naga? - What a nerd. Viper is an archaeologist who has a profound interest in time travel, and has been searching for ways it could possibly work for most of his life. Guess what? He's not a Time player. Reserved and studious, but give him some time to warm up to you and he'll probably gush about his passions for several hours a day.
- Wolf - Arachne - Look like a spider, hiss like a snake, sound like a Wolf. He has gone to great measures to try and make other people stay away from him, to make sure they don't trust him right off the bat, to do what he's good at - playing off of their fears. Wolf began as a spy for a rebellion against a tyrannical government, but slowly realized he couldn't back out of his position on the wrong side, and even worse, he couldn't quit in hopes that someday he could still use it for good (and also for fear that he could be discovered and killed before he can share any information). Normally acts as either a prison warden or an investigator depending on where he is on his timeline, but either way, he's an interrogator behind the scenes. His techniques give him as many nightmares as his victims.
