I'm leaving the next big board posting game up to you, the players. Here are your options.
1. The Minimalist Plot Game
2. Tempting Fate
3. Close Companions
4. Random Pairings
Essentially just listing characters, randomly pairing them, and making threads.
5. None
Nope, now is not the time for events!
Voting ends in one week.
1. The Minimalist Plot Game
Step 1) Enter a list of characters. Reply to this topic.
Step 2) Create a 2 word plot. Basically, a verb-noun thing. Examples:
Steals a Box
Punches a Drunk
Giggles Madly
You get 1 point for every "plot" you make. Go ahead and make a new reply for these or stick them in with your character list, I don't care which.
Step 3) Flesh out others' mini-plots. Example: Player A posts "Steals a Box". Player B fleshes this out: "A character steals a box that is unfortunately filled with rare but poisonous snakes." 5 points for fleshing out a two-word plot. 10 points if it's more than one sentence. If you feel your fleshed-out version of the plot should involve more than two people, please state so. ((You may flesh out a two-word plot that's already been fleshed out, however, your version must be very different from any other version proposed.)) Put all of these into a single post/reply. You can edit it as you go along as I won't be tallying up points until the game ends.
Step 4) I will randomly select a character (or more) from someone's list and either give them a fleshed out plot or a mini-plot that I will flesh out.
Step 5) Play out the plot. You get 5 points for starting the topic. You can refuse to play out a plot assigned to you and get a new one, but it will dock you 2 points to do so. You will get 10 points for actually completing the topic.
These threads should be open; don't expect me to be playing in all of them! I'm just the coordinator of this game.

2. Tempting Fate
Post characters here. I will randomly assign characters to a player. That player must think up a scenario to put the character in. It can be funny, sweet, embarrassing, dangerous, whatever you like!
Example:
Dara submits Zira. I roll myself as the player to put Zira in a situation. I respond to the thread with "Zira will be on a second date with Kleio and everything that can go wrong, does go wrong!" Even better is if I give suggestions on how this comes about.
The person who owns the character in the scenario should be the one to start the thread unless the nature of the situation doesn't allow it for some reason.

3. Close Companions
Ah the magic of friendship. What can be sweeter than watching two individuals draw closer in their companionship?
Earning points while doing so!
Welcome to the Close Companions game! The rules are simple: take two individuals and put them on any point in the 'ladder' of friendship as a starting point. To advance to the next rung, the pair must engage in a variety of situations to completion.
Each time you climb a rung, you gain exponential points. And if you manage to take a pair from the bottom rung (strangers) to the top rung (close friends), there's a bonus, secret prize!
╬═╬ <--(Bonus Rung!) Best Friends
╬═╬ <-- Close Friends
╬═╬ <-- Good Friends
╬═╬ <-- Friendly
╬═╬ <-- Acquaintances
╬═╬ <-- Strangers
The points value is as follows: 1 rung (5 points), 2 rungs (10 points), 3 rungs (20 points), 4 rungs (50 points) 5 rungs (100 points). Anyone (regardless of starting point) who reaches the Best Friends rung will gain a bonus ranging from 50-250 points!
Please note, you may not 'backtrack' to a lower rung with a pair of characters. If they're good friends now, you must start them at the good friends rung.
The special, secret prize is obtainable upon completion of Close Friends. Best Friends is not necessary to gain that prize.
This game will run indefinitely.
Furthermore, there is a 5 point bonus to each rung if you choose to go with a completely random scenario rather than a generic one. Be warned, the scenario may be a little bit odd or require some thinking to make work between your characters.
Please sign up with characters by the pair with an assigned rung of your choosing as a starting point. Post completed threads as proof of scenario completion. Players may not pair their own characters up (IE, if I were to pair Twilight and Sunray together. That is not allowed.) This is a game for between players, not a series of fanfics.
In order for a thread to count, it must focus on the two characters for almost the entire duration of the thread.
