As you approach the Skaian marketplace, a collection of loud noises and billowing black smoke seem to plague the bazaar. Rounding the corner, you see a huge floating hunk of metal that is barely patched together with scraps of sheet metal and bolts. A forge seems to be attached to one end while a large engine seems to be balancing the weight on the other end. A neon sign labeled "Zest's Travelling Caravan" flickers to life as the strange machine's hull slowly squeaks open and an excited robot pops out from the machine's dimly lit interior. The robot waves you over to have a look at what its selling.
The Goods:
A welded sign shows you that there is only one item on the menu.
1 B FOR 1 LB OF SCRAP
The robot sees your clearly dissatisfied face and winks at you. It turns away for a few seconds and presses a button. The caravan groans as the shop rearranges itself and it lands on the ground with a dull thud. A rusty ramp slowly unfolds from the side of the caravan and the robot hurriedly helps you up into the heaping mass of metal.
A strange collection of weapons and other assorted items are piled from floor to ceiling in the main room of the caravan. Each item is meticulously labeled with a neat handwritten description and a few items catch your eye right away.
The Actual Goods:
Occam's Razor - 1000 B [razorkind] A very sharp razor that literally shaves off time when travelling. This razor opens up the shortest path between two points. "When faced with competing hypotheses, select the one that makes the fewest assumptions. Do not multiply necessities without good reason." (i.e. when trying to traverse a mountain, the razor will instead open up a path through the center of the mountain, useable once per thread)
Newton's Flaming Laser Sword - 1000 B [bladekind] A flaming sword that can fire lasers at the user's command with the name "Newton" carved into the side of it. "What cannot be settled by experiment is not worth debating."
Infinity -1 Sword - 1000 B [bladekind] This penultimate sword is what every hero dreamed of... well almost. This sword is absurdly sharp and it can cut through any physical material, however, this sword seems to be glitched and you will occasionally miss what you are swinging at. Be careful where you aim this thing. (50% chance to hit your target)
\ - 1000 B [bladekind, metakind] A 2D backslash that seems to act like a sub-par sword. Wait, how are you even holding this thing!? (When used against anything that is glitched or glitching heal it if it is an enemy or fix the glitch if it is an object)
~ - 1000 B [wandkind, metakind] A 2D tilde that seems to act like a sub-par wand. It shoots a blast of pixels at the target. Is this thing even real!? (When used against anything that is glitched or glitching deal double damage if it is an enemy or corrupt the glitch even further if it is an object)
The robot gestures towards another sign hanging on the furthest wall. "Any weapon may be reforged into a different specibus for an additional 10% fee."
