Player 1
Its hard to say exactly what this person will do. They act more on impulse than strategy, but will incorporate both in their fighting style for the most part. Many of their items and abilities work hand in hand anyway. If this character's pyromania gets the better of them, they will use flame related items without any discretion, despite if other options would be more effective.
A few things they have an edge on their opponent is their immunity to poison and heightened sense of hearing and smell to counter invisibility and that one of their abilities requires the opponent to know exactly what they are stealing to use it to their advantage and they may not be able to tell right off the bat what it is (though even if they could steal it, the nature of the ability leaves a 50/50 chance of being beneficial or harmful).
That ability is what this person would start with, manipulating void flames around the area (See "Fire" god tier ability). Then they would attempt to splash their opponent with lighter fluid. This, combined with them being trigger happy with their fireworks launcher and other flame items makes for a deadly combination, as things will be shooting up from different angles the whole strife. That would prove dangerous for themself, but his battler can use their pyrokinesis tiara to avoid being hit. They could also encircle themselves in flames to make them even more difficult to hit. If they can even think straight enough to hit them (see "Smoke" god tier ability*). At close range they could also use their dagger. Their opponent has only seen the more 'tame' of this battler's antics in person and may not be expecting these sorts of abilities.
*This ability couldn't be effectively used against them since the constant stream of irrational thought is something this player lives with anyway.
However this is only the ideal scenario for this person. Even if they could deal out their full damage, their opponent has an item that cause them both to feel the pain. Though this person's tolerance for pain is surprisingly high, they are still frail and could be knocked out more easily by a well placed attack. This player is pretty much all offense and no defense; and their opponent has several items they would have no counter too. They are distracted easily and sometimes can be taken down more easily because of it. That is assuming their opponent doesn't realize the tiara is the source of the pyrokisnesis and doesn't just steal that ability for herself.
Abilities/Items Used:
"Fire" // Melee usage of dark matter in the shape of flames to erratically distort they field and cause people (both allies and enemies) to harm themselves with their own attacks
(ig: in an arena match, the 'flames' could circle the opponent and the opponent's attack could come out at any random point in the 'flames'. Since it also applies to allies, its a bit of a gamble to depend on.)
"Smoke" /// Figuratively destroys what is real and replaces with something not accepting of how things should be played out. Destroys or clouds mental clarity of other players with false judgement.
(ig: player is thinking about something logical like "how to complete a quest " and he interrupts that thought with something random and illogical like "hey lets gets some duck flavored ice cream." )
Fireworks Launcher - 750b - Launch fireworks at high speed, of course you have to buy the ammo.
Flash Fire Bombs : 100b - There are 10 of these bombs in the pouch. They have two settings, flash fire, or slow burn. The flash fire setting causes the bomb to let out a large explosion of fire. The slow burn setting causes it to slowly let off a constant stream of fire for 3 post rounds. (5/10)
Aura Bang - 57b - Launch this into the air and it explodes, making a huge BANG sound. You can also explode it on yourself and become intangible (but people can feel you if you go through them) for 3 posts. (10/10)
4th Tier Sudonian Quills:
Un-attachable weapon. As an orange blood, Player 1's level of poison is set to a fixed amount and will not change based on dietary choices. Quills that a shed/broken off only retain 60% of their original properties.
"Will cause mild stinging in hand upon impact. Liable to leave a rash. Causes more severe stinging/stunning if threatened."
Ruby Dagger:
This dagger is made of ruby. Other than that, it's pretty standard.
Hm... I wonder what you could do with this... y'know in someone's back?
Lighter fluid (56% full)
Pyrokinesis Tiara - 1000b Allows you to use pyrokinesis while worn. Pyrokinesis is the manipulation of existing fire.
Player 2
Player 2 is aware of her opponent's strengths against poison and so will not even bother using any. The first thing she'll do is utilize invisibility and take flight. Once safely in the air and out of sight, she'll toggle between her various invisibility devices as needed while throwing her knives safely from afar. If it seems she's been detected, she'll fly rapidly and randomly until she feels she's shaken them off her tail and then resume the previous tactic. She'll do her best to stay up and away from the 'flames' and flames that Player 1 favors and if she feels any powers being used on her, she'll be quick to try and shut it down with her Thief abilities, perhaps even using Thief's Mirror to rebound it. If her opponent is somehow dodging her long range strikes, or otherwise frustrating her, she'll risk coming closer to try and steal away their powers or even possibly their soul if she could get lucky enough (not that she expects it work.) If forced to grow close to her opponent, she might utilize her Vial of Void Power to try and blind them.
If she manages to be hurt by her opponent in any manner, her Bracelet of Equality will dish some pain back. Me's a Crowd and Stunt Double will be utilized in this event as well. If opponent utilizes any form of invisibility, she will use her Wrist-Mounted Intangibility Detector. If opponent utilizes speed boosts, she will use God's Given Talent.
She may also toss down a Suppression Field after the first dodge of her daggers.
Items used:
Wrist Mounted Invis Device 300B - A watchlike device that makes you turn invisible. Needs 5 minutes of cooldown between uses.
Bracelet of Equality - 750b When the wearer of this Bracelet is hurt in any way by another player, that other player gets the same injury, as long as it isn't fatal.
Me's A Crowd - 750B - A small ruby-studded ring that when invoked summons up to three intangible (as in they cannot affect tangible objects) clones of yourself that you have no control over, they are completely sentient and act just like you but the user does not inherently control them. You will probably learn how much of a dick you are when using these, as a result. Unique interactions with Heart and Time players: Heart players CAN control the clones since they're very used to splinter self shit.
Wrist-Mounted Intangibility Detector - 800B - A watchlike device that warms slightly when an intangible entity comes within five feet. Watch face features a radar screen that displays the location of all intangible entities in relation to you for up to twenty feet out.
God's Given Talent - 150B - "What is it? Speed." These cleats make the wearer always 1.5x faster than their opponent, but only the one you're locked on to. If another adversary is faster then you better be careful.
Stealthy Cloak of Equality - 2000B - This phosphorescent blue cloak may not look like it's good for stealth, but it gives the user increased speed, silences their movements, and allows them to turn invisible. The increased speed is simply a side effect of wearing the cloak, though the invisibility needs five minutes of cooldown between uses. It's nigh impossible to sleep in it, and still difficult for two to three days after taking it off. In addition, the cloak confers a moderate amount of electrical resistance to the wearer. Small shocks can't get through at all, and anything that would stun or cause a moderate amount of damage only deals a small amount, and fatal electrical attacks are reduced to stunning/damaging. When the wearer is hurt in any way by another player, that other player gets the same injury, as long as it isn't fatal.
Stunt Double - Famous people just have so much to do! This small cellphone like device operates by flipping it open and pushing a button. Doing so will summon a duplicate you for one thread (non-strife) or 5 posts (strife). If you're a time player, it allows you to summon an extra 5 clones on top of your maximum.
Suppression Field - 250B - Throw this bubble-esque form of raw glitch at a player and the player caught inside must break it before getting out. If left beforehand, the user suffers a bone breaking gravity like force for 4 posts. Takes 2 posts to break out and is useable twice per thread. Returns to the users inventory upon breaking.
Vial of Void Powder - This small vial contains a powder so black, that you can't comprehend that you aren't looking straight into a black hole. Pour or blow this powder onto something and it will disappear. It has strange effects when it comes into contact with people, making them blind until it can be fixed by a hero of light or time. - 50b
Innocent Dagger - This dagger contains an illusion on it. Everyone but the wielder perceives it as something harmless--such as a rose. It reveals its true form when stuck into living material. - 300b (Clone #1 of original)
Understrike- 300B - It's a little knife that's mostly good for survival, but is usable in combat if the user is skilled enough. Doing this has it's advantages, because if something living is cut with this blade, the victim will suffer twice the pain, and all wounds will take twice as long to heal.
Sol Reaper - This karambit is black with emerald designs, though the appearance can be camouflaged if need be. The inside is hollow and is capable of storing blood or poison, among other things. If this cavity is empty, it will steal what would best be called their energy, combining their classpect and blood color into a liquid while draining their vitality, notably more so if the victim gains their power from the Green Sun. It will occasionally buzz, blur, or warp the reality around it with the power it contains.
Sol Karambit - A curved blade weapon with an ebony hilt and handle, inscribed with emerald designs. It has a tendency to distort reality itself, drawing its power from the Green Sun. It occasionally buzzes and blurs with the sheer energy it contains.
Black Adder - At first glance, it is nearly identical to the Dark Heart. However, rather than blood, it stores poison. Stabbing someone with it will drain some of the poison, but it can double as a makeshift antidote when empty. The hilt has a decorative snake wreathed around it.
Dark Heart - This dagger is jet black but can become camoflouged with a command word for easier concealment. If Player 2 manages to land a blow with this on another player, it 'stores' a bit of their blood for her to use in alchemization potentials later. If empty, can also be filled with poison but it loses its blood-stealing ability.
Blood Reaper - This pitch black, wicked-looking weapon is curved into a hook shape. It retains the camouflage and blood-stealing abilities from the Dark Heart. It is inlayed with jagged emerald designs, but that is the only remnant of the Green Sun it carries.
Harvester Keydagger- A thin, dangerously pointed but fragile blade with gilded key features melded to the end. The handle is rounded red wood held at the bottom with a yellow band for convenient holding. Unlocks all but the most complicated locks in every land. 50b.
Aspect Power: Player 2 is able to steal emotion and take them into herself (for example she can steal excitement, leaving her target without being excited about anything while she becomes excited.) She is also able to steal powers. They do not have to be in use for her to do this, but stealing power while someone is resting passively is much harder and slower (she doesn't get much return for her effort.) She cannot steal blindly; she has to know what she's going after (and declare it OOCly.) Stealing powers being used actively does not stop them but it does reduce their potency as she takes it into herself. Any abilities stolen last either the whole thread (if she was able to take a lot) or only a few posts (if she did not take much at all.) If stealing aspect power, she uses this ill-gotten ability similarly to how the original user does, not as a Thief of New Thing, making it like a mimic power. She has the ability to steal souls (only with other player permission!!!) Stealing souls of the dead while they're being judged or before being rezzed by god tier kiss is a lot easier than trying to steal one from someone walking around and talking. Holding stolen souls in herself is extremely disorienting and uncomfortable for Player 2 and if she were to hold on to them for too long they may integrate into her own soul, changing who she is. She's usually very careful to store her stolen souls quickly because of this. She cannot give anything stolen to another player, though she can invest it into an item if it is specifically designed for it, such as her daggers.
Thief's Mirror - Player 2 steals aspect energy from an active ability, halving its effectiveness, and immediately rebounding what she stole back at the target.
