Player 1
Even with his immunity to poison, Player 2 is not someone Player 1 would want to mess with. His usual tactic of turning invisible would prove useless because of her items for detecting him. He'd start off extremely and keeping a distance. He'd shoot at her with his dartgun to try and stun her, but then stop and restrategize once he caught wind that he was receiving the same wounds as her. He'd pretty much spend the rest of the strife throwing out any distraction he could until he could get close enough to plant his bouncy bat bomb directly on her(like close enough to stick it down her shirt or something). If that failed, he'd go for the back of the throat with his claws.
Player 1's distraction/dodge techniques include:
>His aspect power- to omit blinding flashes of light, particularly when near the face.
>His aspect power part two- weak misdirection, muddles opponents thoughts possibly enough to lose sense of direction.
>Tome of Spiritual Summoning - summons random ghosts that can't really do anything
>Anticlimax X2- Player 1 has two free 100% dodges he'll probably save for when he's trying to get close to Player 2.
> Creepy robot spider to climb on her?
> Hohoho; will set loose a bunch of reindeer
> Santahide; may hide in Santa sleigh
> GLITTER; will aim for face with this
>sp000py gh0st; will throw sheet at Player 2 / wave it around
> talking/being annoying in general
He'll alternate between all of these throughout the strife. ^^
"Blinding Light"//
So much light is omitted it becomes difficult for anything to see.
"Withhold" //
Can block information from mind-readers; usually presents false information in its place. (ig: if checking what faction he was in, he could claim ruinist)
"Misdirection"//
Muddles the thoughts of an enemy briefly, usually only enough to lose sense of direction though.
Dartgun Gambitizer-A dart gun with a randomizer that can give the darts four different effects in addition to the regular darts. The effects are stinging poison, numbing poison, tranquilizer, and flame dart (not actually on fire, but really hot). None of them will kill instantly, so if makes for an interesting game of Russian Roulette if you're feeling too happy about yourself.
Robotic Claw- Short ranged claws that attach to Player 1's robotic arm.
Bouncy Blue Bat Bomb - This round bomb is very bouncy and looks like a bat. Reuseable! Only good for once per thread though.
1. Tome of Spiritual Summoning - A tome that can summon a few small spirits and also turns you into one for 5 posts in a thread. Must be fun to spook people with.
2. Plain white sheet
3. Anticlimatic Moment - This is just an empty jar? But if you smash it on the ground, the next attack aimed at you will always miss. Sometimes pathetically so.
5. Mr. Parker V-3.5: A friendly, head sized purple spider robot. By hugging your head, it can read your mental state. Isn't that adorably terrifying? 200 B
7. Santa's Sleigh - 400b - Complete with reigns and golden metal. It requires 500lb of Magic Dust to fly, lasts for 10 posts. Or if you buy 12 reindeer it flies infinitely unless a reindeer dies.
8. Reindeer - 100b X12 1200- Santa's Reindeer, kidnapped straight from the North Pole.
10. Mega Glitter Gun- 20B - This thing is so glittery it's kind of hard to look at. Pulling the trigger will release a small orb of glitter, covering everything in pink, silver and gold sparkles. Comes with six bullets.
Player 2
Player 2 will use a similar not dissimilar to her last opponent. Any suspected use of god tier powers will result in her sucking them away for her own use or bouncing them back. She'll also be slapping on her God's Given Talent to keep up with Player 1's speed and surpassing him a bit. She'll forgo all her poisons again and she'll keep on the move to make herself a not-so-easy target and to try and thwart his sense of smell and hearing.
She'll try her luck with a few ranged attacks, using her less valuable knives. If that strategy proves good, she'll keep it up, otherwise she'll make darting strikes--in and out, attacking on the fly--to hit and run repeatedly. She'll be quick in using Me's A Crowd to make a few clones to order about; these will mostly be her meat shields but of course they'll try to hurt him too. Her Bracelet of Equality will help keep the damage field even.
If he gets too close to her at any point she'll not hesitate to dump her Vial of Void powder on him or else take a swipe with her Lightbane Nightmare Dagger.
Powers/Items
She is also able to steal powers. They do not have to be in use for her to do this, but stealing power while someone is resting passively is much harder and slower (she doesn't get much return for her effort.) She cannot steal blindly; she has to know what she's going after (and declare it OOCly.) Stealing powers being used actively does not stop them but it does reduce their potency as she takes it into herself. Any abilities stolen last either the whole thread (if she was able to take a lot) or only a few posts (if she did not take much at all.) If stealing aspect power, she uses this ill-gotten ability similarly to how the original user does, not as a Thief of New Thing, making it like a mimic power.
Thief's Mirror - Player 2 steals aspect energy from an active ability, halving its effectiveness, and immediately rebounding what she stole back at the target.
1) Lightbane Nightmare Dagger - 1500B - The blade of this dagger is so black, you can't comprehend that you aren't looking straight into a black hole. Blow across the blade toward an inanimate object, and the item will disappear. Blow toward a person (or stab them with it), and it will blind them until it can be fixed by a hero of Time, and...well. This dagger is permanently covered in a poison that sends the target into a deep and fitful sleep, plagued by nightmares, night terrors, and even sleep paralysis if they're unlucky. It also causes nausea, cramping, and potentially vomiting for up to two hours after they awaken, including the time they were still knocked out. Oh, and you know how we said 'if' they're unlucky? They will be. This dagger also has a detrimental effect on the target's fortune, destroying their luck with every cut. Light players are affected more strongly by its qualities, and it is twice as effective against Icaru in particular.
2) God's Given Talent - 150B - "What is it? Speed." These cleats make the wearer always 1.5x faster than their opponent, but only the one you're locked on to. If another adversary is faster then you better be careful.
3) Me's A Crowd - 750B - A small ruby-studded ring that when invoked summons up to three intangible (as in they cannot affect tangible objects) clones of yourself that you have no control over, they are completely sentient and act just like you but the user does not inherently control them. You will probably learn how much of a dick you are when using these, as a result. Unique interactions with Heart and Time players: Heart players CAN control the clones since they're very used to splinter self shit.
4) Bracelet of Equality - 750b When the wearer of this Bracelet is hurt in any way by another player, that other player gets the same injury, as long as it isn't fatal.
5) Wrist Mounted Invis Device 300B - A watchlike device that makes you turn invisible. Needs 5 minutes of cooldown between uses.
6) Stealthy Cloak of Equality - 2000B - This phosphorescent blue cloak may not look like it's good for stealth, but it gives the user increased speed, silences their movements, and allows them to turn invisible. The increased speed is simply a side effect of wearing the cloak, though the invisibility needs five minutes of cooldown between uses. It's nigh impossible to sleep in it, and still difficult for two to three days after taking it off. In addition, the cloak confers a moderate amount of electrical resistance to the wearer. Small shocks can't get through at all, and anything that would stun or cause a moderate amount of damage only deals a small amount, and fatal electrical attacks are reduced to stunning/damaging. When the wearer is hurt in any way by another player, that other player gets the same injury, as long as it isn't fatal.
7) Vial of Void Powder - This small vial contains a powder so black, that you can't comprehend that you aren't looking straight into a black hole. Pour or blow this powder onto something and it will disappear. It has strange effects when it comes into contact with people, making them blind until it can be fixed by a hero of light or time. - 50b
8) Understrike- 300B - It's a little knife that's mostly good for survival, but is usable in combat if the user is skilled enough. Doing this has it's advantages, because if something living is cut with this blade, the victim will suffer twice the pain, and all wounds will take twice as long to heal.
9) Sol Karambit - A curved blade weapon with an ebony hilt and handle, inscribed with emerald designs. It has a tendency to distort reality itself, drawing its power from the Green Sun. It occasionally buzzes and blurs with the sheer energy it contains.
10) Sol Reaper - This karambit is black with emerald designs, though the appearance can be camouflaged if need be. The inside is hollow and is capable of storing blood or poison, among other things. If this cavity is empty, it will steal what would best be called their energy, combining their classpect and blood color into a liquid while draining their vitality, notably more so if the victim gains their power from the Green Sun. It will occasionally buzz, blur, or warp the reality around it with the power it contains.
11) The Void's Shadow - 1000b - This bracelet is pure black. When worn it casts a shadow in the opposite direction of where their shadow would normally be. Any supernatural spying attempts on this person will turn out completely and entirely blank. This includes any items that would allow for scrying or knowledge gain, god tier powers with similiar effects. If someone were to see into the future where the person who was wearing this would be would instead be nothing as if they were not there.
12) Void Tracker- 1000B - Void players pissing you off by doing stupid things, like making them untraceable? This nifty item will render all void powers useless against you. Useful for finding the pesky void player of your choice. It won't lead you to them, but you will be able to find them by normal means at least.
