Dreamwarp had acquired a troll. Well, two trolls. But Malkus didn't require as much focus and time and care as Cedric did. Sweet Cedric-paladin, good guy, and before he ran into her, blushing virgin. He still retained the blushing part at least. And so Dreamwarp had nobly decided to take the poor troll under wing and give him a more thorough education, which is to say he caught her fancy so she dropped by his hive more often than some of her other options.

Well maybe more than just her fancy. Dreamwarp found herself taking an instantaneous liking to Cedric beyond just the adorable timidness his uncertainty with her brought him. He was a good person. And it was so very rare for Dreamwarp to collect truly good people in her life that liked her. Like tended to attract like, and she had only to look around her social circles to see the kind of person who she tended to associate with.

So while she could have simply made this a 'hey let's try interspecies boning on another planet' day and left it at that, she'd decided that this would be a day to strengthen friendship. She'd invited Cedric to explore LOAAE with her; maybe make a picnic of it? She actually did have a lunch, cliche basket and all, tucked into her sylladex. After landing on the planet (and finding to her great distress she could no longer fly. Damn. That was going to suck.) She set about trying to figure out the glitch of the planet that everyone was talking about. Once she stumbled over shooting fire and lightning, she decided (whilst repeatedly blowing up pinecones, giggling madly) that it wasn't such a bad trade off after all.

Cedric had found it equally distressing that he didn't have his normal powers as a Seer of Void. After a while of trying to figure out what was happening... well... he was actually pretty impressed with the powers he had on this planet, and... he'd found a nice, dramatic way to make an entrance. He created a platform of stone, standing on it with arms crossed. Around him in the air, was what looked like a serpent made of water, slowly wiggling. The platform basically moved across the ground at surprising speed, while the water serpent matched it to stay around Cedric at the same distance throughout the trip.

After a while of traveling like this, he came upon Dream. He stopped his platform near her and smiled. "Hello, Dream." He stepped down from the platform, the water serpent remaining in the air about him. He walked towards Dream. Once he was  a few feet from her, the water serpent fell to the ground, splashing and then sinking in and wetting the earth. He uncrosses his arms, stopping in front of her with a smile. "How are you, today?" He was in casual clothing, which meant a black T-Shirt(for some reason, Cedric didn't care about displaying his symbol), jeans, and teal converse. His armor and weapons were packed away in his Sylladex and Strife Specibus. He doubted he'd need them. Especially with these cool powers.

At first she'd been a little alarmed at the big moving thing coming towards her until she'd spotted Cedric on top. Then she'd just watched the show with a huge smile. "Hi Cedric!" she greeted cheerfully, punctuating it by pulling him into an embrace. "I'm good!" She put her forehead against his, giving him a bright smile that reached her eyes. "Seeing you always puts me in a good mood, cutie."

Cedric would have been surprised by the hug if he didn't know Dream. He hugs back, smiling. He blushes faintly teal at her words, but keeps smiling. Gah, that was such a low-level, not even sexual one! Why was he blushing at that!? This woman... "Oh, does it? I can't really imagine why." He then gives a faint chuckle. "I'm happy to see you, as well."

[Lady]

She gave him a quick kiss on the cheek before releasing him. "So you've familiarized yourself with the glitch here, I see. Pretty cool, huh?" She held up a hand and summoned a flame to burn there. "I've got this and I can shoot lightning. And you seem to have hydrokinesis and that earth stuff. Hey, think you can carry me on your little stone chariot? I'd love to see more of the landscape."

[Jeankana]

Cedric smiles at that. "It seems our elements are polar opposites. And of course I can." He looks to his side and a foot or two away, another stone platform appears, a bit larger, made to accommodate two people. He walks over, stepping on the 'stone chariot', then offers his hand to Dream to help her up.

[Lady]

Dreamwarp smiled, taking his hand, and this time not letting go as she stood beside him. "Yeah, well... I guess that doesn't surprise me." She lifted his hand, to indicate him. "Light." She pointed at herself with her other. "Dark. You, sweet and innocent. Me, wicked and corrupted. One more thing to our opposites doesn't surprise me in the least."

Cedric gives Dream a soft smile. "Dark, yes..." He gently pokes her chest, over her heart, with his free hand. "But with a heart of brilliant gold. You just need a light to penetrate that darkness, and it shines intensely for all to see." He lowers his hand, giving her's a gentle squeeze with the one she's holding. "Now, which direction would you like to head in, first?"

[Lady]

Dreamwarp seemed a little stunned at his words; which was silly. He'd said nice things about her before, but it never ceased to really startle her. She thought about saying something in kind but they were already moving the topic on so she settled for squeezing his hand back tightly. "South," she said after a bit of thought. "Will the impending forest be much of an issue?" For in that direction lay a huge one.

[Jeankana]

Cedric shakes his head. "No, it shouldn't be a problem at all. I've noted that my powers give me just as much control over plants as it does over soil and stone. Observe." He motions to the edge of the stone platform, where a single plant sprouts. It grows rapidly, turning into a single, red rose. He reaches down, plucking it and handing it to Dream with a smile. "See?"

[Lady]

Dreamwarp couldn't help it; she started blushing. It was really silly, but she found the gesture to be incredibly sweet. She accepted the rose gently, inhaling its scent. "That's amazing, Cedric! Your powers are so... Elegant. Er, Well." She looked down at their platform. "Elegant and powerful. Anyway keep a sharp eye out for a good spot to have a picnic."

Cedric's smile widens slightly. A picnic? That did sound delightful. "Alright, I will." He made an(unnecessary) flick of his wrist, the stone platform began heading South. He started it off slow, gathering speed so as not to throw either of them off or cause whiplash. He was especially concerned for his companion. He didn't want to hurt her. As requested, he kept his eyes open for anywhere that looked good for a picnic.

[Lady]

It didn't take like before they were in the forest, with trees that seemed to continue forever like a small ocean. Dreamwarp sat down, folding her legs beneath her, in order to avoid accidentally taking a face full of branch as they passed through. The sunlight shone down, dappled from the increasingly thickening canopy above, and the heady scent of wild woods filled the air.

"This really makes me homesick," she sighed, breathing in deep. "Uh. Not the moving stone platform. But the sights and smells."

Cedric sat down with her, gently placing an arm around Dream. Looking at the forest around them, Cedric sighed quietly as well. "Your home must have been beautiful, then... We had nothing like this on Alternia, that I knew of..."

[Lady]

"Yeah it was," Dreamwarp agreed, leaning in against Cedric, curling her own arm around him as well. "I lived out in an area that was largely country, like this. I mean, where I actually lived was a large town but we were just a stone's throw away from farms and forests. What was your planet like?"
