Hey there. I am Mom (apparently v.v; )
I have a fluffy and rather annoying, but lovable cat.
His name is kokonoeh (I think that's how it's spelled, I'd have to ask the original owner, a friend)
One night, I decided to experiment with walking him, since he loves the outdoors so much.
He was adventurous yet nervous. alot easier than I had expected. After our little walk, he still wanted to be outside so i hooked him up to the dogchain so that i could get things done without him tripping me up and stuff. But when I went out to check up on him, I discovered that he broke the chain and ran off somewhere v.v;
After about 20 minutes of calling for him, and not seeing any sign of him or hearing his little jinglebell...I went inside. (also found out my roommates had walked him before, but he didn't behave for them. heh.)
Then it started to rain, i checked outside again, and he walked right up the front sidewalk and into the house.
I have since then decided to take him for walks around the block, so that he knows the area as well as possible for the next time he manages to run off.
I also realized that there are sme things to learn about my cat's outdoor self.
Day 1.
Nervous but adventurous. Doesn't seem to like streetlamps or cars. Not hard to walk otherwise.
Day 2.
Should have worn gloves. Koko was very lovable whenever a car passed on the street. I felt bad and carried him towards home for a stretch.
Day 3.
Today I let Koko lead the walk, but was only willing to extend it by one block. He never even tried to go further. I have learned a few things.
1. koko stares at people
2. He MUST stare at the front door of whatever house we are passing for at least 5 seconds
3. he gets the crazy need to run full speed onto a tree.
4. My cat is very amusing.
Disgusting alert
Mom has just learned that the cat stomache can hold a lot of food, and that it smells like spaghetti-o 's
